Marquierite A. Saba, LMSW
I am a Licensed State of Michigan Master’s Social Worker [LMSW] with Clinical & Macro designation. My overall career has encompassed direct services, supervisory, mid-management, and administrative roles in providing clinical supports and services to diverse populations in varying settings. My practice career and experience extend 30+ years providing mental health/behavioral health supports to families, children and youth, individuals, adult women, and aging adults. Areas of expertise range from providing mental health/behavioral health supports regarding issues/concerns of depression, stress and anxiety, coping with life-changes, relationship issues, family conflict, trauma and abuse, and coping with grief and loss.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and engaging with genuine respect, compassion, transparency, and sensitivity. Therapeutic strategies include but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy [CBT], Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. I recognize and support the strength it takes to strive towards securing a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Sondra Kariem
I completed my Masters Degree in Counseling at Oakland University. I have over 5 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including community mental health settings, outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric facilities, crisis intervention, nonprofits, adolescents, families and adults. I have clinical experience working with individuals and groups in the areas of depression, anxiety, anger and stress management, trauma, and abuse, family and relationship issues, bipolar disorders, chronic mental illness, self esteem, grief and loss and coping skills. I have a number of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention, etc. I realize how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impacts their well being and am prepared to assist you with all of your needs in order to navigate through your daily lives.
Briana Roy
Briana Roy is a dedicated social worker trained in trauma informed practice with a true passion for healing, recovery and wholeness. In over a decade she has assisted adult clients in mental health; children in educational settings; and families navigating the foster care system. She believes in transparency and respect, while applauding progress and commitment.
Roy graduated with a Master of Science in Social Work (Wayne State University) and is also a proud HBCU Graduate. She has a passion for thriving communities, serves on an executive board for high school girls in Detroit, Michigan and loves to support local businesses. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, juicing and gardening. Her ultimate goal in life is “to live a life of freedom and inspire others to do the same.”
